With its unique multi-core capabilities, VxWorks delivers the most configuration options to extract the highest performance with minimal footprint for your multi-core platforms. You can run VxWorks as a single operating system in symmetrical multiprocessing (SMP), asymmetrical multiprocessing (AMP), multiple SMP images, or mixed SMP/AMP modes, enabling your applications to run at optimal performance and reliability levels.
