Product Highlights

Product Description

IDT offers a range of integrated communications processors (ICPs) and development tools, and partners with industry-leading software and hardware vendors to deliver system platforms to communications customers. The ICPs, which are based on the MIPS ISA, target high-growth communications market segments such as wireless LAN, residential gateways, SOHO routers, and Ethernet switches, as well as emerging types of edge and access market areas, including IADs and fiber to the home. IDT's ICPs provide flexibility, high performance, and the appropriate level of integration, enabling customers to enter the market quickly with cost-effective, highly flexible systems.

The RC32334/2 is targeted for Ethernet switching and wireless access points. A complete "24+2" hardware and software reference design is available with IDT's RC32334, Broadcom's BCM56xx, and Wind River's Tornado for Managed Switches software suite.

The RC32355/1 is targeted for DSL modems/bridges, residential gateways, and integrated access devices. A complete residential gateway reference design is available for IDT's RC32355 and Wind River's Tornado for Home Gateways software suite.
