Avassa and Wind River Partner to Deliver Innovative Edge Application Management on Wind River Linux Platforms

STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN and ALAMEDA, CA — Nov. 12, 2024 — Avassa, a leading innovator in edge application management, and Wind River®, a global leader in delivering software for the intelligent edge, today announced a strategic partnership where Wind River will add the Avassa Edge Platform to its Linux portfolio, including Wind River Linux and eLxr Pro. This collaboration aims to provide a complete and secure software stack for managing edge workloads and enhancing edge computing capabilities across distributed environments. 

With this partnership, Avassa and Wind River will offer a comprehensive edge software solution, enabling customers to benefit from robust edge infrastructure and advanced application orchestration, monitoring, and security tools. Additionally, organizations will be able to efficiently deploy containerized edge applications while leveraging the reliability and performance of Wind River’s technology.
