Intern of the Week – Emma Cullen on Career Hyper Speed
As summer begins, we welcome our summer Interns to the Wind River Marketing department. Among them, Emma Cullen has truly stood out, earning the title of Intern of the Week. Emma is based in our Seattle office and attends the University of Utah as a Business Marketing major with an emphasis in selling.
With just three weeks under her belt, Emma has showcased her remarkable value. Right from her very first day, we challenged her to learn, explore, collaborate, create, and deliver. So far, she has actively participated in and contributed to the successful roll out of two critical program initiatives including a new product launch, Wind River Studio Linux Security Scanning.
During the past week, Emma joined our Partner Marketing and Sales teams in Santa Clara to support our technology exhibit at the NXP Connects [#NXPConnects23] event.
In preparation for the event, Emma’s feet were put to the fire. She had to quickly adapt to immediate needs including coordinating team involvement, corporate communications, crafting key messages, and writing copy for social ads and blogs. She also had to roll up her sleeves and get dirty in the “marketing cage” to pull together all the assets needed to support the exhibit and technical demonstrations. She learned very quickly how to solve last minute challenges. She now enjoys spending time at Tap Plastics and FedEx!
At the live event, Emma's natural ability to converse with customers and partners left a positive impression. With her help doing demos and delivering product value messaging for our solutions, we were able to generate a great number of high-quality leads.
Emma's enthusiasm for learning and her proactive approach in taking on new challenges to surpass expectations are the ideal traits of a future marketing professional. Whether she is developing product or solution positioning, crafting compelling content, conducting market research, or actively planning webinars with subject matter experts, we look forward leveraging her exceptional work. We are incredibly proud to have Emma as a valuable member of our team, and we are confident that she will continue to excel through the program.
