So what is Fixed Mobile Convergence?
Where do you start on a topic like this? Fixed-Mobile Convergence
(commonly known as "FMC", and not to be confused with Fixed Mobile
Substitution – a later discussion), is a vast topic that has a hundred
different meanings depending on who you talk to. In the last year, I
have spoken to very few people who can articulate what it means, and
seen it regularly confused with "IMS" (IP Multimedia Subsystem).
So what is it? I’ll start with my perspective, and welcome any other interpretations that people would like to throw in.
