As a technology leader in the field of minimally invasive surgery, Olympus Surgical Technologies wanted to focus on its core competencies as it developed a next-generation high-frequency surgical generator. Olympus outsourced the development, documentation, and validation of its new safety-critical RTOS to Wind River®.
